A beautiful park with lots of shade, where you can relax and people watch on one of the benches, or take your tourist shot on the enormous kissing chairs. On Sunday afternoons you can find the locals dancing on the little stage. There are also some very nice restaurants around the park.

El parque de Santa Lucia es un lugar ideal para ir a cenar o tomar unas copas, esta en el centro de Mérida y es un edificio antiguo situado alrededor de un parque, el edificio fue remodelado y ahora alberga varios bares y restaurantes de toda clase de estilos y convergen en el parque, es una vista muy agradable y memorable, altamente recomendable.-------------The Santa Lucia park is an ideal place to go to dinner or for drinks, it is in the center of Merida and it is an old building located around a park, the building was remodeled and now houses several bars and restaurants of all kinds of styles and converge in the park, it is a very pleasant and memorable sight, highly recommended

Public park only a 5 minute walk…with free traditional music and dance program at 9:00 pm every Thursday evening. There are several restaurants surrounding the space so you might want to come for a meal that night
