Wilmington Island YMCA offers a nature trail, a gym And a playground area. Around the corner is a larger trail the Whitemarsh Preserve.

There is a walking trail around the ymca and a great park for kids. Neither require a membership.

Island YMCA is right around the corner from you. You can actually walk or run to the Y and work out. They have weight machines, treadmills, saunas, basketball courts, etc. You may purchase a day pass for $5.

I have been told, if you go take a tour of the Y, they will give you a free two day pass. For those who want to fit exercise into your vacation, this may be an option.
