Welcome to Possum Retreat a lovely getaway for couples, we are located in a quiet no through road off Scenic Highway borderline of both North Avoca/Terrigal. Our home is better than Bourke’s backyard with the kookaburras, cockatoos and possums in the black butt gum trees out the back and a lovely view of Avoca beach in the distance and the sound of the waves. Conveniently located the house is a 25 minute walk to Terrigal Beach 5 minute drive. Our newly renovated home is fully self contained.

Located 45 minutes north of Sydney on Berowra Creek, a tributary of the Hawkesbury River, the north facing house is backed by Marramarra National Park, and surrounded by bushland with superb views of the Hawkesbury River. A fifteen minute walk along the lakeside to North Avoca beach and from there you can stroll south along the beach to Avoca where there are restaurants, cafes, an old school cinema and great hiking tracks
