Tranquil Traveller's Rest

This cosy separate bedroom with ensuite is a tasteful garage conversion. In the room is a small fridge, a table and chairs, towels, a hair dryer and a kettle with tea and coffee provided. The room is in a separate building at the front of our family home, so you will have your own private entrance. The bed is a comfortable queen size genuine Japanese futon. It is a quiet and private location, with native bushland to the side of and behind the house. We are only 10 minutes from the M1 freeway.

The historical town of Wollombi is a short country drive. We are only 400 metres to access a section of the Great North Walk where you can walk to the top of the mountain or further. Bring your mountain bikes to enjoy a quiet easy ride through this spectacular pastural valley.

Minnalong Cottage This lovely one-bedroom, private cottage is set on a working horse property. It is perfect for a couple's getaway or single traveller to explore the beautiful Hunter Valley. It is conveniently situated for a self-guided tour of the Hunter Valley vineyards including Pokolbin, Wollombi and Broke. It is located at the base of the Watagan Mountains, with easy access for bush walking, picnics or 4WDing. Newcastle and beaches are 45 minutes drive away and Port Stephens 1 hour.

Cooranbong, La Maison Verte, Breakfast

Our beautiful French style apartment is located on the second story or our home. It is sunny, spacious and comfortable with all you need for a long or short stay. Access is private and you have sole use of the apartment. Situated near Hunter Valley with its many wineries and the Hunter Gardens, Blackbutt Reserve, Watagan Mountains, Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, and Avondale University (all within a 3 to 40 minute drive). No cleaning fee.

The Tree House

My name is Tanya, and I run our BnB along with my daughter Kristiarne. This is perfect winter getaway for friends and families that want some "get away" in a little luxury. We love the trees surrounding us and the wildlife that visit. The sounds of the bellbirds will greet you on your arrival. Sit by the indoor fireplace.
