Stylish New Forest rural hideaway near Lymington

Relax in this contemporary rural bungalow on the forest and close to the sea. Walk out onto the New Forest, enjoy the scenic garden looking over fields packed with wildlife, or enjoy cycling along quiet lanes amongst grazing ponies, donkeys and cattle. Two good pubs are within 1.5 miles in either direction and the historic towns of Beaulieu and Lymington are 3 miles and 4.5 miles respectively away. The quaint historic shipyard of Bucklers Hard nearby has a museum, pub and marina. IOW close too.

The Garden Wing is a very special tranquil place

This unique place has a style all its own. Designed in a Japanese way with it's own Water Garden, terrace and boardwalk. Ideal for a family and children will love The Garden Wing, but there is access to the Japanese water garden, and bedroom 3+4 have unguarded stairs to unuseable mezzanine bunks ( see photos). We want you to kick back and relax in this calm perfectly located cabin. It is located 2.6 miles away to the historic town of Yarmouth and is on the Isle of Wight Cycle route and perfectly situated for the huge amounts of walking trails West Wight has to offer through countryside and woodlands, beaches and towns.

Tiny home-garden cabin near Freshwater Bay

The Bird Hide is ideal for singles or couples (max 2 people) interested in exploring the local area with its own garden and separate access. A comfortable king size bed, seating area and with it's own dining and inbuilt kitchen, it offers all you need for a short stay. It has a separate bathroom, as well as on outside decking area to catch the evening sun. The Bird Hide is 5 minutes walk from Freshwater Bay, even closer to footpaths to the Downs and the local village via the SSSI trail.

The Pod

The Pod is a unique space, a few minutes walk from Colwell Bay, and the popular HUT restaurant!It is a wooden structure, full of character nestled within our garden which has a ‘fort wall’ around it, dating back to 1863. The Pod is self contained with a kitchen, bathroom, living area and mezzanine bedroom,which is at the top of a uniquely hand crafted paddle staircase (not suitable for children or anyone with mobility concerns) Also available to use is our garden and outdoor seating.…

Step out of the back gate and onto the bridleway leading over the downs to our favourite place, Compton Bay.
