Self-contained hideaway flat in the heart of Wells

The Hayloft is an independent, self-contained, two-person flat within a couple of minutes’ walk of the centre of England’s smallest city. The flat has its own front and rear entrances and secure off-street parking to the back of the house. The flat comprises a bright South-facing living/dining room with TV, and a separate, fully-equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a large shower. A spiral staircase leads to the mezzanine bedroom, with a double bed and ample cupboard and drawer space.

The Annexe

The Annexe is a comfortable, spacious and versatile place to stay with its own separate entrance. Suitable for 4 people, the double bed can be split into two singles and the singles in the second room are of the narrow kind. The bathroom is excellent and there is a fridge, kettle and toaster for making breakfasts and drinks. There is free off road parking, friendly neighbours and you won't be disturbed. Close to Glastonbury (10mi), Wells (6mi) and the Royal Bath and West Showground (2mi)

Accessed from a spiral staircase, it is on the 1st floor, and is completely self contained and private. My comfortable, cosy, self contained annexe, with its own entrance, is right at the heart of the village close to our pub and local shops. It is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Chew Valley with plenty of walks and pubs, and we are within easy walking distance of Chew Valley Lake.
