Rescued from a local farm as a neglected frame, it has been lovingly restored by ourselves into a cosy, modern retreat on the edge of the New Forest. The hut is set in a secluded, private spot on our farm overlooking a lake. It is self contained and finished to a high standard; including a comfy double bed, heating, mains electrics and a fully equipped kitchen and en-suite bathroom, supplying all you need for rural yet comfortable stay.

Unique situation this detached cottage, with an EV charger, is within the Greatfield estate and has beautiful private gardens within a parkland setting. There is a private security gate for access. We are a short walk (5 mins) from Bucklers Hard village and Beaulieu River, where you will find the Master Builders hotel and pub, the Marina and the Maritime Museum. For the hotel restaurant advance booking is recommended. There is a lovely riverside walk to Beaulieu village ( 2.5 miles ).

Beekeepers cottage, a cosy retreat by the stream

Beekeepers cottage was part of a watercress farm and is situated in the grounds of Bridge cottage with the pillhill chalk stream running past the door, a cosy cottage which if fully self contained, set in large grounds on the edge on the village, there is an abundance of wildlife, friendly ducks and resident chickens and a working apiary, fresh eggs and local honey when available, although it has a rural feel the town of Andover with all its amenities is an easy walk or short drive

In a self contained annexe the accommodation consists of: Ground floor- sitting room or 2nd bedroom ( Queen bed) and shower room. First floor - staircase to small landing with kitchenette and basin, main bedroom (King bed) and Smart TV. Tea, coffee and cereal is included and there is off road parking.

Formerly known as the "shifting house" it was first built in 1898-1899 to accommodate munitions workers changing into the special clothing that they wore when working on magazines.
