Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stay overnight in a mini storage? Probably not, lol! But if you’ve ever watched HGTV, you’ll see that people across the country are creating short term rentals out of all kinds of crazy things from shipping containers and barns to old warehouses and yurts. In Cross Lanes, WV, we took our cues from those folks on TV and created a short term rental out of the storage unit! Conveniently located just off I 64 and only 1 mile to the Mardi Gras casino.

Outpost Cabin

Come and see our cabin nestled in a secluded location that is within close proximity to recreational activities and restaurants that will surely please a couple or an entire family. You can enjoy horseback riding trails nearby, hiking trails, golf courses, local parks, and fine dining or a cozy campfire in the evenings to end your day with story-telling and laughter that will last for many years. There is excellent cellphone service, and centrally located between Charleston and Huntington, WV.

Quirky and Cute Upstairs Apartment

This apartment is super cute, and conveniently located in St. Albans, WV. It's on the city bus route and within walking distance to restaurants and grocery store. This is an almost 100 year old duplex, so the floor plan of this unit is a little quirky, in that you have to walk through the first bedroom to get to the 2nd bedroom and bathroom (see photos). It also has an accordion style door that separates the master bedroom from the living room. It’s a super comfy place, but privacy is limited.

Hidden Treasure is located in Scott Depot, WV just 3 minutes off I-64. The kitchen is fully equipped. Screened-in breezeway and two decks. The home has five sleeping areas - two queen beds, one double bed, a bunk bed, and a twin XL , plus 2 couches. There are 2 dining areas. Washer and dryer. Two full bathrooms. Off street parking for several cars. WiFi is provided along with two large flat screen TV's. Pool table, Ping Pong, Air Hockey, Darts Decks, and pool (in season) with patio.

Hive & Hillside's Mtn. Momma Guest Cottage

Under new management! This sweet studio guest cottage is less than 1 mile from I64. With roughly 300 sq feet, we are conveniently located between Charleston and Huntington. Guest may enjoy a quaint outdoor space which features a propane firepit and a shared grill. The cottage is located next to the main home, but is disconnected for your privacy.
