Sarah’s Cottage, a Georgian Grade II Listed house located in the very centre of Taunton, Somerset. The Somerset County Cricket ground is seconds away and we’re on a rather surprisingly quiet street with historic, pretty buildings. Taunton’s independent quarter is just around the corner with restaurants & shops & there’s easy access to the town, Quantock Hills, seaside, motorway, Exeter, Bath, Bristol & beyond. We offer residential street parking & the house comfortably accommodates 1-6 guests

The Gaff with heated swimming pool and studio

This really is the most beautiful of getaways - An easily accessible hideaway under 2 miles from junction 27 M5 and Tiverton Parkway. Suitable for 1-3 adults wanting to explore the South West, a mini yoga retreat, working locally or just wanting to escape to the countryside. The heated pool is right on your door step and has a swim pump . There is a wet-room, bed and sofa-bed downstairs. Hopefully suitable for many with neurodiverse issues or dementia. Not suitable for children or babies.

Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub.

Cosy cottage with large inglenook fireplace

This cottage is 300 years old and has a wonderful inglenook fireplace and old beams. There is a great village pub just 400 yards away, which is dog friendly. There are lovely country walks straight from the cottage. We are next door to the property which is semi detached. We will welcome you on arrival but then leave you entirely to enjoy your holiday. We are always on hand to offer advice and tips for your holiday. One well behaved dog is always welcome. We charge £30 for a dog please.

Hele Manor Barn, hot tub, large garden for dogs

Relax with the whole family or a group of friends at this peaceful place to stay in the Somerset countryside. Set in a development of converted barns tucked away from any roads, you have the run of a three bed barn conversion. It has a large secure, private garden suitable for children or dogs as well as having the added luxury of an outdoor hot tub. Friendly local pub just a five minute stroll down the lanes, The Barn is the perfect countryside base to explore Somerset and Devon.

Kennel Farm lies within the Exmoor National Park on the banks of the River Barle, 1 mile from the beautiful town of Dulverton. The farmhouse has been sympathetically renovated, keeping the original features whilst offering modern comforts. Guests are invited to enjoy picnics, wild swimming and campfires on the river bank, and walk through the surrounding Arboretum and 17 acres of parkland. A place to totally switch off, surrounded by wildlife, outdoor activities and birdsong.

Set on our small farm with horses, fields and a stream for children to explore, with walking and cycling tracks from the door, beaches within 20 minutes and a popular café in the woods nearby.

Also close to Musgrove Park Hospital.
