As you descend the stairway into the woods you'll begin to experience the peace of Otium, one of two small shipping containers set into a clearing in the forest. The outdoor living space has lounging seats, chairs, natural gas fire pit, outdoor shower and an outdoor soaking tub! The inside of Otium is designed with the colors and textures of nature, seamlessly blending with the surroundings, but furnished with luxury linens and all the comforts of home! Relax in the comfort of this spacious and freshly renovated two-bedroom, private apartment. A charming, open floorplan boasts 19th century high ceilings, hardwood floors, and an intimate patio setting. Check-in effortlessly to your private entrance with designated off-street parking under carport. All fresh white linens and towels, basic cookware, and wifi are provided for your enjoyment. Amish Country, Tuscora Park, Kent State's PAC, and Schoenbrunn Village are a few of many local attractions.

Old Veterinarian Office, Heart of Amish Country!

In 1946 my parents lived here, using the upstairs as dad's veterinarians office. I've remodeled it using their doors, sinks, and artwork, an Amish made bed & bedding, and included locally made soaps & coffee. My parents were simple, peaceful, and relaxed, and I hope you feel that during your stay. This unique building has one bedroom, one bathroom, a small living area with a pull-out couch and kitchen. It is located just minutes away from downtown Berlin, local farms, bakeries and so much more!

In the heart of beautiful Amish country we are just minutes away from popular attractions. The living area includes a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and comfortable furniture to enjoy a smart tv and fireplace. A King bed and full bath on the main floor. The loft has a queen bed. Tucked among pines and rocks in the heart of Amish country, where the occasional clip-clop of horse and buggies adds charm. Styled like a railroad depot, the artistically furnished home displays intricate stonework, tile and custom stained glass. The kitchen includes appliances and cookware, with the outdoor area offering a propane grill. Complimentary firewood is provided for the firepit.

The space is spacious, yet cozy! After remodeling the theater into an apartment, our family called this loft home for over 3 years. It was a special home where our first child took her first steps.
