Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. The Tepee is a cozy studio cabin on Big St. Germain Lake with a fireplace. It is the perfect cabin for a romantic getaway & a great alternative to staying in a hotel with your own pier and right on the lake. The cabin is good for couples, solo adventurers & furry friends. We have a sandy beach for swimming and a community fire pit for campfires. The firewood is provided for the fireplace and fire pit. It is a great location for enjoying all that northern Wisconsin has to offer all year round.

Enjoy our small ranch house with a walk out basement to bring you to the shoreline of Boom Lake, the heart of the Rhinelander Chain of Lakes (Boom, Bass, Thunder, Lake Creek, and Wisconsin River Flowage). It is considered one of the best fishing destinations in Northern Wisconsin. The surface water area is over 1700 acres with 35 miles of shoreline for boating, skiing, swimming, jet skiing, and fishing!
