We are only 30 minutes drive from the world heritage site that is the Jurassic coast, which has the towns of Lyme Regis famous for its fossils and Bridport which are popular for the beach and cafes.

The cottage has recently been renovated with a new kitchen and various decorative updates. Montacute is a small village and civil parish in Somerset, England, 4 miles (6.4 km) west of Yeovil. There is a traditional pub serving real ales, local ciders and great home cooked food and the superb Pitney Farm shop offering organic meat and veg from the mixed farm & market garden. The area offers lovely walks directly from our garden up into the hills at High Ham or down on to The Levels and the river Carey.
