The Cottage is the original farmhouse built in 1794 when the farm was founded .We are located on the Hughes river ( native trout fishing) at the foot of Old Rag Mountain only two minutes from the parking lot @ Old Rag. Access to White Oak Canyon and Shenandoah National Park are only minutes away. We are also a working vineyard and winery with our tasting room open Friday thru Sundays and by appointment. Welcome to the Reva Retreat! This country house sits on 10 acres, nestled between Shenandoah Nat'l Park & the Blue Ridge Mtns, with wineries and breweries nearby. Approx 1.5 hours from DC and 45 mins from Charlottesville makes this the perfect getaway destination to escape the city & unplug. Stocked with amenities: BBQ grill, dine al fresco, stargaze by the firepit, cook a feast in the new kitchen, play board games in the basement, or connect your laptop to a 32" monitor to work remotely.

Peaceful Secluded Old Rag Retreat

The spacious one bedroom yurt is located high on a forested hillside in the middle of 15+ acres. Come enjoy a natural and serene getaway with all the comforts of home- a full kitchen (ie, all utensils, setting for four), a bathroom with shower and laundry, a queen bedroom, and a queen foldout sofa in the living room by the wood burning stove. The windows roll up from the outside and have permanent screens inside. There is also a BBQ grill, a separate firepit, and WiFi via satellite.

At 1,800 feet in elevation the air is cooler in the summer and views are spectacular year-round including the stars at night!

Enjoy the lovely, quiet setting on 21 acres. Newly renovated 2 story bank barn will be your home away from home. Soft, muted colors, zen feel. Come relax, hike, ride your bike, go wine and craft beer tasting, Copper Fox Distillery, has nice gin and bourbon if you prefer. Visit Luray Caverns and Shenandoah National Park, or shop at Sperryville gift shops, restaurants, antique markets and art galleries. Old Rag Mountain is only 20 minutes away!

Time for a quiet retreat to the country. Spring is here! Good time to hit the hiking trails. (Or just stay cocooned inside!) Here's a totally modern cottage for up to four people for whom camping and even our Hayloft Cottage may seem a bit too rustic. The back door opens up to a porch and a spacious 1.5 acres of fenced-in area (shared with Hayloft dog owners and our mutts), perfect for your four-footed friends (dogs only; limit 2).
