The Alpine Den Is perfect for all occasions, from a romantic getaway to a family retreat. Located in an old growth forest near the Salmon River, nestled under a canopy of Firs and Cedars. The cabin sits on a picturesque half acre lot, minutes away from great restaurants, markets, golf course, biking and amazing hiking trails. Welcome to our stunning two-bedroom, two-bath arched cabin nestled along the Sandy River. Enjoy direct access to the river, where you can bask in the natural beauty of the surroundings and a view of Mt. Hood. The open concept living area boasts large windows that frame the breathtaking river views, creating an inviting ambiance that's perfect for relaxing. Indulge in a the barrel sauna with panoramic river vista. The cabin is close to endless activities up and around Mt. Hood.

The Bear's Den, studio with kitchen and pond/creek

Our wonderful guest house is a cozy studio with a queen bed, kitchen, sofa, and dining table in one large room. There is a bathroom with shower. This is a second floor apartment over the detached garage, we live in the main house next door. The property is very secluded well off the road with no other houses nearby and borders the National Forest. Enjoy the spring fed pond in the front yard, a hike along the Sandy river, or a 15 min drive to ski resorts.

Niksen House: Scandanvian style Cabin at Mt. Hood

*water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities. The Upper and Lower Salmon River Trailheads are just up the road, and a multitude of other hiking opportunities nearby.

Smokey’s Lost Haven

Small & cozy cabin in the woods. Short walk to Zig Zag river. Well equipped to make you feel comfortable & a little spoiled. Amazing back covered porch makes enjoying the outdoor possible any time of year! Sleeping 6 will be VERY cozy, limited private sleeping areas. Queen bed in upstairs bedroom, Q bed downstairs in open bed cubby, and Q sleeper sofa.
