The Rock House • Historic• Walk to Central College• Fire Pit Stay in a true piece of Pella history. The Rock House was built in 1856 by Dutch homesteaders and has been beautifully restored with modern comforts. This cozy 2-bedroom cottage sits next to Central College and is just minutes from downtown shops, bakeries, and the famous Vermeer Windmill. Perfect for couples, small families, Central College visitors or a cozy Pella getaway, the home blends historic charm with a peaceful retreat.

The Prayer Cabin

The Prayer Cabin is located at Lake Red Rock outside of Pella, IA. The cabin Is an Earthen/Berm home located on a 1 acre lot in a quiet & clean neighborhood. The lot boasts a wooded valley with many birds and squirrels to watch. The Prayer Cabin was recently remodeled with a brand new kitchen and bathroom. Our first guests asked us if Chip and Joanna were the creators of the design. 💚 Navy Blue cabinets, Tons of white shiplap and open shelving. Peaceful. A place of respite and relaxation.

The Strawtown Cottage - in downtown Pella

Completely remodeled 1865 original Strawtown Store of Pella conveniently located in one of the best small towns in Iowa. Three blocks to downtown Pella, 1 1/2 blocks to West Market Park, 2 blocks to Central football, baseball and softball complex. Enjoy the cottage charm with two private bed and bath suites, a family room with dining, full kitchen, front and side porch, laundry and large back yard. Off-street parking in the back. Luxury sheets on queen beds await after your adventures.

Spacious Three Bedroom Home

Nestled in the heart of Newton, this spacious 1840 sqft house offers the perfect blend of comfort and charm. Just two blocks from downtown Newton & less than 35 miles to Des Moines, Grinnell, Pella, & Knoxville, this home has the potential for long-term stay and near the hospital for traveling nurses! or a quick overnight stop. Wheather visiting family, or make your way to a big event, you’ll find everything you need for a memorable stay. Pets 80 pounds or under are more than welcome!

The Henhouse Retreat- Hot tub, fire pit

The Henhouse Retreat is a beautifully restored 2 bedroom home converted from an original henhouse on our property. With breathtaking country views out every window you are sure to find this country retreat relaxing and enjoyable with many things to do close by like fishing, hiking, and a bike trail. Cute little towns to explore or cuddle up with a book & enjoy relaxation that comes with a deep breath in the country. Come as a family, some couples, or a little getaway, this home sleeps 7.

The Mid-Town Cottage

Stay close to everything in this charming 1940’s cottage, just steps from historic downtown Pella. Renovated for comfort and style, this cozy retreat is the perfect home base whether you’re visiting family and friends, working, or exploring all that the area has to offer. Enjoy easy access to Pella’s unique shops, local restaurants, and vibrant town square; or take a short drive to Lake Red Rock for scenic trails and outdoor adventures. Relax, recharge, and feel right at home.

Enjoy nature and forget about your worries in this spacious and serene space. You are just a few minutes from downtown Pella; yet can sneak away, take in the stars, relax in peace and quiet all after you have explored the Pella sights. You will have the entire main floor. The basement is NOT included ( it is safely locked off) that may or may not be rented to other guests. If it is, you may share outdoor yard space. You may even see some wildlife in the backyard.

Come sleep under the stars in this cozy galaxy bell tent. You can enjoy a good nights sleep in the comfortable King bed and stay comfortable with an air conditioner and heater. There is also a fridge for keeping your food fresh. Soak up nature while you hike the trails around Oak Haven Acres, a 32 acre farm in rural Iowa. For your security we have a trail camera at the beginning of the driveway that won’t intrude on your privacy.
