Waterfront Guesthouse II on the Rappahannock

The “Beach House” is a guest cottage at Snug Harbor, a 2 acre private property overlooking the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. Perfect for a couple’s getaway, this well-appointed cottage has beautiful water views and includes access to our private beach & dock (with guest slip) with use of our paddle boards and kayaks. The cottage’s 1st floor features an open liv/din/kit area, full bath with large shower and a covered patio. The 2nd floor features a large loft bedroom with a queen bed.

Reconnect with nature and sway with the trees in this rustic treehouse nestled away in the woods with a gorgeous view of Hungar's creek. Enjoy the view from the front porch or while relaxing around the fire pit. Visit the adorable beach town of Cape Charles, complete with a beautiful beach, brewery, distillery and plenty of restaurant options, or stop by the nearby vineyard for some local wine. Usage of dock, kayaks, grill, and fire pit all included. Beach towels and cooler also provided.

Privacy, peace, relaxation, togetherness … this cottage is the perfect place for memory-making with your family and friends!     The kitchen is stocked with every spice and tool you may require to create a delicious meal, which can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar, large dining table, or outside, surrounded by the tranquil Virginia ambience.     The shed, equipped with kayaks, paddle board, crabbing gear, bicycles, beach stuff chairs, has all you may need for a day on the bay or at the ocean.

This 1970's spacious home has plenty of room. Experience the water with our three kayaks or family canoe and watch the abundant wildlife. Heartsong Farmhouse was completely renovated in 2019. Beautiful hardwood floors, brand new furniture, in a modern farmhouse style with a Boho vibe. The entire home is filled with beautiful natural light and the brick walls ensure a peaceful nights sleep. The yard is completely surrounded by a 15ft hedgerow of holly, magnolia and camellias, like walking into a secret garden. You will feel welcome from the moment you drive up.
