Pop’s Net House

Pop’s Net House was built by my grandfather, Maurice Ballance, in the early 1970’s out of wood repurposed from the old Ocracoke school house that was built in 1917. This property is centrally located in the middle of the village down Marks Path, which was named after Maurice’s grandfather, Mark Gaskins.
