Old Salt and a Mermaid

Charming, fully remodeled rental in a quiet downtown neighborhood just a 5-minute walk from the harbor. This colorful and airy ground-floor unit features a private entrance, front porch access, and shared laundry (with a separate back entrance). Relax with a drink on the porch or yard swing, and enjoy easy access to local shops, restaurants, and the free island shuttle. Guests can use the bench swing, bike rack, and golf cart charging outlet. House key grants access via the front door only.

Warblers Way Guest Suite Hatteras Village

Located on 1.15 acres with owners onsite. Private guest studio connected to owners’ residence by decking. Warblers Way is tucked away amongst live oaks and marsh and is ideal for unwinding in a quiet setting while still being an easy 5 minute stroll to the beach. The property is within walking distance to the Ocracoke passenger & car ferries, Hatteras Landing, Teaches Lair Marina, Odens Dock and numerous spectacular restaurants. Easy drive to the off-road vehicle (ORV) beaches.

New! Island Cottage

Nestled in a garden just off Back Road, the Island Cottage is walking distance from the best food, drink, and village attractions. While being efficient in size, it includes everything you will need to enjoy your stay – queen bed loft, two twin bed loft, full bathroom, washer/dryer combo, fully equipped kitchen with a four-burner gas range and oven, bicycles, a double kayak, linens, bath towels, and more! Please note, at this time we are unable to provide beach towels and WiFi.

The Bird House

Experience everything Ocracoke has to offer with a centrally located lifted home with plenty of parking and storage. Bright natural light fills this space with a tree covered oasis. Relax in two screened in porches and an outside deck with hammock. The home fits 4 comfortably with sleeper sofas in the living room and a large industrial kitchen. Your host lives onsite in a separate entrance unit to be available for any local recommendations or needs. Come hang with the birds!

SurfShanty! New Tiny Home Escape

Wedged between cedar and live oak trees, the SurfShanty tiny home is the ultimate escape for active island explorers and those seeking a respite from reality alike. Down a sand path, just off Back Road, the Shanty is centrally located to all village destinations. Small in size, but not short on amenities the Shanty is well equipped with nearly everything you'll need to enjoy island life. Full kitchen, queen bedroom, private patio, wifi and more.

Beach access is a short 6 min walk for surf and beach fun. Close to grocery store, ice cream parlor, restaurants, coffee, and souvenir shops.
