Underground Hobbit Home in the deep forest

Our custom-built Hobbit Home is nestled under the forest floor on a 10 acre site. A bench swing adorns the hillside along the huge boulder fire pit and outdoor picnic area. The inside of the 185 sq.ft. structure is one-of-a-kind, with a Poplar tree bark ceiling, wavy cedar walls, and a wood cookie wall. A queen sized bed with linens and pillows comfortably sleeps two, and a comfy pull out couch can sleep two children under 12 or one teen or adult. A wood stove makes it cozy in the cold months.

Executive, cozy one bedroom, one bath, lower unit apartment. Full kitchen and full bathroom, with washer/dryer combo. Private entrance and private patio. Comfy queen bed in the bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living room. Wi-Fi and cable channels available. Located in a safe, quiet, wooded, country neighborhood close to Grand Haven, and Holland, with access to many parks, beaches, and golf courses. We are conveniently located 10 miles from downtown Grand rapids, 5 miles from Grandvalley State university and 30 miles from the lake Michigan shoreline. There are many places to shop, restaurants, breweries, and parks within a 5- 15 minute drive. So close to town but it feels so remote. Come check out our farm store full of local goodness!
