As everyone knows, if you have a spouse or loved one in the military, the whole family is in the military! I have a private room with a queen sized bed and private bathroom in my home complete with flat screen TV, cable, Wifi and coffee in the morning for my military guys and gals! A private working horse farm sitting on 90 acres of open pastoral land with mountain views, complete with 2 spring fed swimming ponds, and walking trails.

If you’re looking for more space and amenities than staying in a hotel room, but still want the cleanliness and professionalism you’d expect from one, then you may enjoy staying here. Our spacious 3 room, 1,200 square foot historic (c. 1670) one bedroom apartment for two guests has exposed beams, wide pine floors, full bath, kitchenette, and is just a short walk to Long Sands Beach or a short drive to York Beach, York Harbor, or York Village.

Victorian Room (Queen & Full, private bath)

The Victorian Room at Parkside Retreat—a quiet, peaceful retreat just 3 miles from the bay and 5 miles from the oceanfront, without all the beach noise! Five minutes from I-264 in NE Virginia Beach. Huge back yard adjacent to park. We are very much like a classic bed and breakfast, just without the breakfast.
