The Priory

The Priory is an impressive former Gentlemen’s residence, which dates back to 1864 and has been lovingly restored as superior apartments. Set in a tranquil cliff top area of Shanklin, the apartment features stunning uninterrupted panoramic sea views. From the living area, there are French doors that open out to the spacious decked area, where you can sit, relax and soak up the spectacular scenery. There is also over 2 acres of woodland gardens, complete with winding paths, beautiful plants, play and seating areas. Surrounding The Priory is National Trust and farmland, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and many coastal walks, all waiting to be explored. Off road parking and cycle parking bays are available and we are able to offer 15% discounts on car ferry services from Red Funnel from Southampton and Wightlink from Portsmouth and Lymington, so please get in touch after booking for details. Just five minutes walk away is the Old Village, with the famous thatched cottages and a selection of local shops, pubs and restaurants, and the main town centre following afterwards. Finally, it is just a few minutes from the cliff top and Esplanade with its sandy beaches.
