The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. For the best sleep, open the bedroom window!

Set in the beautiful Alleghany Mountain Range, the Cabin On The Creek is a custom-built luxury cabin with amazing views and access to Potts Creek on a private wooded property. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek include the back porch, observation deck with Adirondack chairs, and walking path that leads to a stunning view of the Potts Creek “Sinks.” Enjoy the tranquil natural environment as you make use of the outdoor grill, picnic area, fire pit, and hot tub.

Stay in this 1960's Hunting Cabin located halfway up a mountain. Extremely private with incredible views of the Peaks of Otter and Bedford County. 2 miles of hiking trails, stocked fishing pond. A gas grill and fire ring are provided. You will have Wifi, Roku TV screens, puzzles, card games, and corn hole. The Blue Ridge Parkway is nearby. This cabin is 15 min from the AT at mile marker 809.1.

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.
