Linnets Somerset Holiday Home

Linnets is a rather special property in the heart of rural Somerset within the pretty village of Fitzhead. Linnets is a large, three-bedroom semi-detached house with a modern Swedish hot tub that seats 6, as well as an outdoor swimming pool, set in a very pretty garden. Linnets is proud to be fully wheelchair accessible. Downstairs there is a spacious wet room with grabs rails and shower chair. The kitchen also has some low-level worktops, and the living room is fitted with a hearing loop.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space in the beautiful picturesque village of Staplegrove. Nestled on the edge of the Quantock Hills, The Old Potting Shed is a self contained holiday let enjoying views of the surrounding gardens with pretty shrubs and our own pet chickens wandering around. There is a small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities (please remember to bring your own milk). A wonderful array of pubs are just on the doorstep as well as a village shop (co-op).

Our newly appointed annexe offers the perfect setting central to Taunton. Ideally located close to the train station, Nuffield Hospital, Taunton School, and Musgrove Park Hospital . Whether you’re a solo adventurer or a small family (the sofa converts into a comfortable bed on request), our annexe is thoughtfully equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Including a small private, fenced patio area, and you might see our friendly spaniel running around.

Middle Lodge

Middle Lodge is a remarkable getaway. Once the gate lodge to nearby Hestercombe House, it is surrounded by open fields and trees, yet only two and a half miles from the centre of the pleasant Somerset town of Taunton. Now grade II listed, it retains its original features and has recently been renovated to become a stylish and comfortable holiday cottage. The location at the foot of the Quantock Hills makes Middle Lodge an ideal base for walkers and dog owners.
