The N Central State Trail for biking, hiking, walking, Cross country skiing and snowmobiling is 1 block behind the property. Public boat launches are 3.8 mi away with several easy access beaches nearby. Home includes 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, garage, patio w/table, new appliances, washer/dryer, fireplace, smart tv, and sleeps 8. This quaint chalet is 25 miles from Mackinaw City and Mackinaw Island boat docks.

Many restaurants lie along the Waterway and in downtown Cheboygan a mere 5-min away. 20-min to Mackinaw City and Mac Island ferries. 45-min to vineyards in Petoskey. State parks, beaches, bikes, hikes, and cross country skiing in all directions. Bring a book, kick back and stay a while.

Enjoy summer days or wintry splendor. We are located in a rustic area of northwest Michigan, 15 miles north of Harbor Springs, within 2 miles of the Tunnel of Trees. We are conveniently located for nature preserves, hiking trails, beautiful beaches, ski slopes, and Mackinaw Island. Our home is attached to the guest suite but guests access their suite via a secured private entrance. Our equipped kitchen has a pantry, fresh farm eggs, butter, a home-baked item, ground coffee, and teas.

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage is the perfect all season getaway. Enjoy the inland waterways, fall color tours, hiking, skiing, ice fishing and snowmobiling. Only a few weeks remaining for summer of 2026.
