Come check out this tranquil getaway located within 10-15 miles of Kirksville, 1000 Hillls State Park, Truman State/ATSU, and hundreds of acres of public hunting/conservation land. This little cabin is a one bedroom, one bath tiny home that is located off the beaten path and is tucked away in the woods. The space comfortably sleeps four people (with ability to sleep 6 with a pull-out couch). Enjoy the relaxing sounds of nature by sitting around the fire pit or relaxing in the hammock.

Our cabin is located right on the edge of Lacey-State Park, with two spacious bedrooms, fully furnished living room, kitchen and bath. Sit on the deck and watch the deer walk by, enjoy the peace and quiet, with plenty of space to park your boat and recreational vehicles. Downtown Keosauqua is less than half a mile and conveniently located near all that this quaint river town has to offer - dining, shopping, bars, trails, kayaking, fishing, hunting and so much more. Emma’s Cottage is close to great views, family-friendly activities, Nauvoo sites and the Historic Nauvoo Temple. It is good for couples, families, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The cottage was built around the 1940’s. If you enjoy privacy in an authentic environment, then you’ll love it.

Captains Quarters Treehouse

An off the grid whimsical gem in the Ten Acre Treehouse forest! "The Captains Quarters". This is the 2nd treehouse in rural Nauvoo. A lot of the same touches found in "The Whitetail". The first treehouse here, you will find in this nautical inspired creation. This treehouse is a full 2 story, 400 sq foot, and features second story bedroom, sleeper sofa on the first floor, small kitchen area with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, plates, silverware, cups and a sink!

Charming Country Apartment above the Town Square

Cousins Airbnb is located on the square in Lancaster, MO. Lancaster was once the home of William P. Hall, known world wide for selling mules and horses. He housed circus animals in huge barns in Lancaster during winter. The apartment is above a small cafe. The private entrance is at the top of an iron staircase in the back The balcony at the top provides a peaceful resting place and view of the town. Parking is located in back, where there is a covered patio for your use.

Lacey state park has many outdoor adventures - Lake Sugema, hunting, fishing & hiking in the forest.

River's Edge Cabin-Riverfront Acres/DISH/WiFi

This cabin is nestled by the bridge across from Pittsburgh, Iowa, just a few miles west of Keosauqua. Accommodations not only include the cabin, but also 1.5 acres of flat, riverfront land to play, relax and enjoy nature. A screened porch with seating overlooks the Des Moines river. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor fire ring. The amazing wildlife along the river is absolutely beautiful. If you enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing and nature, this is the cabin for you!

The Vernon Street Guest House - Suite 2

Built in 1900 and renovated in 2022, Suite 2 shows little signs of the once quirky old space. Completely private, with all the amenities, it boasts a spacious bedroom, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a desk for workspace, and a laundry room. While you're here, we hope you are able to relax and enjoy the well lit deck along with a cup of freshly roasted coffee, which we are happy to have provided.

This place will allow you the amenities of staying in a home like setting. You can’t get that at a hotel. Plenty of room, Wi-Fi, laundry, outside deck. One full bath and one half bath. Home Away From Home is how we want you to feel when you are staying here. There is an extra guest fee for every guest over 4. Due to allergies, we ask that you do not bring any pets into the home.
