Evenings are for stargazing and s'mores around the outdoor horno (traditional fire pit), while mornings begin with coffee on the deck. You're just 10 minutes from downtown Alamosa and 30 minutes from the Sand Dunes—peaceful and private.

Front and back porch perfect for watching the sunrise and sunsets, quiet get away. There is some equipment on property, We have a shop area in the back of the property we use occasionally but it is a good distance away. NO AC

Relax on the deck while taking in the amazing views of Culebra Peak or gaze at the star filled skies. A tiny wood-burning stove will keep you cozy and warm. The sectional couch is used as a super-sized bed. Older kids (or average sized adults) can sleep in the small overhead loft on a 3 inch queen foam topper.

Headwater Hideout

Beautiful working ranch in south central Colorado with gorgeous mountain and ranch views. This is an old farmhouse that has been renovated several times over the years so there are some quirks. The middle bedroom has no access to a bathroom unless they are walking through one of the other bedrooms. You can choose the wood burning fireplace or furnace to heat your space. Excellent fiber optic WiFi.
