Beautifully furnished, romantic and spacious, in gorgeous peaceful countryside, the thick stone walls make it warm and cosy in winter, cool in summer as well as quiet and private. Upstairs there is a very comfortable super kingsize bed, a rolltop bath, a huge velvet sofa and a 50" TV. Downstairs is a shower room, kitchen and large dining area. It’s deep in the heart of rural Hampshire and the beautiful Test Valley. It is close to many other pretty villages and historic towns and cities including Winchester and Salisbury, and offers access to many other places of interest. You can walk straight out onto your own patio and relax in the pretty garden

Little Trout, Nether Wallop: an oasis of calm

Little Trout is the annex to a 17th century thatched cottage. A one-bedroom flat with fully equipped kitchen, large shower and comfortable sitting room, it is perfect for a trip to West Hampshire and the Test Valley. You will find an oasis of calm in a busy world where you can relax in comfort after an active day visiting the many sites of historic interest or admiring our beautiful local scenery. Almost all our guests have told us that the bed is the most comfortable they have ever slept in!

‘The Den’ Self contained one bedroom annexe.

This is a great spot for a midweek or weekend getaway, also ideal for professional seeking Midweek accommodation local to work. It is self contained with separate access & parking. The accommodation consists of shower room, kitchenette, double bed on mezzanine floor, lounge area,TV, fire stick, log burner, armchairs & desk. It is in the grounds of our private house with the Wallop Brook running through the garden. I do not provide breakfast but do provide complimentary,tea,coffee,milk & biscuits

Parking for one or two cars. Convenient for anyone working at Porton Down & is 10 minutes from Salisbury by car.
