Oak Framed Home with Countryside Views

Get back in touch with nature at this luxury cabin nestled in a quiet hamlet. Find tranquility on the terrace surrounded by breathtaking views, or lounge amid thoughtful decor and chic modern finishes in the exposed oak beam interior. Blue Vale is brand new as of June 2018! We helped to design this green oak framed building and have been involved in the whole process of building it, doing much of it ourselves. For our colour scheme we have used different shades of blue throughout, playing on the name of Blue Vale. The furnishing and finishing touches are of a high standard to help promote a comfortable and luxurious finish. There is an eclectic style combining modern country with industrial finishes. Luxury, high thread cotton bedding and towels, large flat screen smart tv's and luxury Neals Yard toiletries help to give the top-end finishing touches we would appreciate if we stayed away from home. Blue Vale is completely self contained but sits in the grounds of our family home. The decked outdoor living space is screened by trellis on the garden side with fields on the other. You would be very welcome to walk around our garden. We can be as interactive as you wish. With living in the same grounds we are close at hand if needed. We will welcome you when you arrive but will be respectful of your privacy. The glorious Blackmore Vale landscape is a tapestry of farmed green fields with a sprinkling of English villages, of which Sandley is one. Walk out (or cycle, using our available bikes) onto country lanes and venture along a web of footpaths to discover this unspoilt part of Dorset. Visit Stourhead, stroll around the ancient towns of Sherborne or Shaftesbury or discover the beautiful Jurassic coast. Visit Longleat safari park, Haynes Motor Museum, Monkey world & Yeovilton Air Museum. Sandley is a quiet hamlet with the neighbouring village of Buckhorn Weston just a mile away. The Stapleton Arms pub can be found here. We are 10 minutes away from the towns of Gillingham and Wincanton where various supermarkets, shops and services are. There is a train station in Gillingham which has a direct route to London in less than 2 hours. The larger cities of Bath and Salisbury are less than an hours drive and it takes around an hour to drive to the beautiful Jurassic coastline. The historic towns of Shaftesbury and Sherborne are only 15 and 20 minutes away respectively. The quiet rural roads and bridleways of the Blackmore Vale are excellent for cycling and walking. Blue Vale is in the grounds of our family home. There is a one- bedroomed B&B facility on the ground floor of our home.

Garden Bothy

This is quiet cabin in a large garden, two minute walk from the town centre and 30 minute walk to the top of the Tor. You have your own access to the garden and cabin via a side gate. Lovely wood burner for chilly evenings and spacious covered decking with a mature grape vine for Al fresco eating or chilling with a good book. We are pet friendly and have 2 free range dogs who form the welcoming committee. The bathroom and shower are attached to the main house and are shared with another guest.

Larch Retreat

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. A beautiful open plan, newly refurbished cabin set in the heart of the Somerset Countryside, we are only 9 Miles from the home of Glastonbury Festival, 10 Miles to Bath, 7 Miles to Wells and 14 Miles to the city of Bristol, these are just a few places that you may wish to explore. The cabin is entirely self contained and has its own outdoor area complete with very own hot tub. A co-op and 3 pubs within 5 minutes by car, or a 25 -30minute walk.

Pear Tree Cabin is located in the quiet and peaceful hamlet of Ham in Somerset, sitting in the grounds of a seventeenth century thatched cottage on a quiet country lane surrounded by beautiful countryside. Relax in the hot tub spa after a busy day or share a drink on the tree deck built into a 400 year old Oak tree. Cook in a fully equipped kitchen or enjoy the rain whilst sat in a rocking chair. Snooze in a hammock and then relax in front of a film before heading to a comfy king size bed.

Stunning cabin with outside area and free parking

Stunning self contained luxury cabin located in the back garden of a private house. European king size bed, bathroom and a separate fully equipped kitchen. The outdoor areas have countryside views. The cabin is a 20 minute walk from the City Centre and has excellent public transport links. It is an ideal base for exploring Bath with its myriad of shops and culture, or for going out and about on the network of footpaths and cycle tracks, the Two Tunnels cycleway is 2 minutes away.

The Cabin

A rustic, secluded self contained Cabin beside a lake, set in the heart of rural Wiltshire. Take yourself back to nature and enjoy far reaching views in this peaceful off-grid setting. Enjoy stargazing around the fire pit and snuggle down in front of the log burner. We're veggies here so we ask that no meat is cooked on the premises, this includes inside the cabin itself as well as in the South Barn space. There is a good outdoor bbq for meat lovers though! The Old Beauty Room

A bright and airy self contained studio garden room, located in the village of Paulton. The room offers a comfortable double bed, TV, separate W.C & electric shower. There is also tea & coffee making facilities as well as a toaster, fridge/freezer, microwave and full size iron and ironing board. Outside is your own private area with bistro set for you to enjoy. We look forward to welcoming you into The Old Beauty Room.

We welcome you to Rookery Lodge a Norwegian log cabin, with all the amenities you should need to relax and enjoy your stay. Rookery Lodge is situated in a beautiful secluded spot on the Somerset Level. With generously sized outdoor space for you to BBQ on the decking and then relax in the private hot tub under the stars. It is on the edge of the Somerset Levels with beautiful views and surrounding area nearby.
