Right on the edge of nature reserves this is perfect for cyclists and bird watchers. In the winter months you can witness the famous murmurations. A short drive or bus ride to visit the Cathedral in the city of Wells. Unwind and enjoy the Lotus Cabin which comes with a small, private, sun-filled patio and off road parking.

Recently renovated with love, this 17th Century house has modern features in a traditional build. With gorgeous walls made of stone, the attention to detail creates a wonderful environment, whether it be cosiness or relaxation you wish for, or even a little dinner party! Lower Godney is a charming community in the Somerset levels. Fields and farm animals a plenty, we are also lucky enough to be surrounded by nature & bird reserves. It goes without saying the walking and biking is heavenly!

A private and rural location in the pretty village of Wedmore makes this the perfect location to explore the beautiful Somerset countryside and historic towns and villages in the area. Wedmore is situated on the edge of the Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels, and is close to three incredible nature reserves as well as Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Glastonbury. This is a great place for bird watchers and wildlife lovers, with excellent opportunities for walking and cycling right from the front door!

Perfect location for exploring on foot or bicycle the stunning local flora and fauna. The renowned Ham Wall, Westhay Moor and Shapwick Heath Nature Reserves, home to the 'Big 3' are within 3 miles. Easy access to Cheddar Gorge with its staggering caves, Glastonbury Tor and Abbey rich in myth and legend and Wells with its magnificent Cathedral and Bishops Palace.

The Piggery at Cradlebridge Farm

We are pleased to offer our refurbished conversion which in its previous life was an open barn, pig sty and engine house. It has been updated to provide a comfortable setting suitable for a relaxing getaway. Guests have their own entrance hall, large sitting room with wood burner, snug, dining room, and fully fitted kitchen. Spacious bedroom with shower room. There is a private outside seating area and garden, but you may choose to explore the open countryside which is all around.

Fenny Castle Vineyard Cottage near Wells, Somerset

The cottage oozes character, from the oak beams to the huge inglenook fireplace with woodburner. Well equipped kitchen with traditional oak table and pews. The spacious bedroom has a king size bed and a small single bed, suitable for a child. Adjoining the bedroom, is the shower room with walk in shower. There is a large private patio area for relaxing and barbecuing outside, with views of the hillside. We have a vineyard producing English Sparkling and Still Wines, made on site.

The Huffy House

We welcome you to the Huffy House. It’s a quiet location overlooking gardens with views of surrounding hills. Access is at the rear of the house through the conservatory; where you’ll find your front door. There’s is a key lock on the side of the conservatory door with a key to that door and your front door. We do offer tea, coffee and milk together with a basic breakfast on arrival of bread, butter, jams and cereal. There’s water and orange juice in the fridge as well.
