The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

Tucked into the forest canopy on Bowen Island, the Wildwood Cabins are authentic, hand crafted post and beam cabins built from local and reclaimed timber. Each cabin is clad in natural and charred cedar and is blended into the sword ferns, cedar, hemlock and fir trees that surround it. The Fat Cat Inn

In a quiet neighbourhood, a lovely, private, air-conditioned, vaulted-ceiling cabin with glass front overlooking Baynes Sound and the mountains of Vancouver Island. Self-contained with a private entrance. Queen-size bed in loft, single bed on main floor. Private bathroom with shower. Private access to beach. Close to ferry, a short walk to the local village. Please note that this property is not suitable for people with mobility issues or small children. WE DO NOT CHARGE CLEANING FEES.

With only 35 minutes from Mt.Washington, come relax in the hot tub after a day of exploring the Comox Valley. Or within a short 5 minute short stroll to a beach access on Baynes Sound. 960sqft of inside space to enjoy with lots of natural light and a view of the ocean from the kitchen. Large covered balcony to BBQ or sit around the fire pit year round

Helliwell Bluffs

Curved boat like getaway adjacent and overlooking Helliwell Park, it's in the grassy oak grove meadowlands with spectacular open southern views, beach below. Featured in handmade builders of the Pacific Northwest. Stone, cedar, stainless steel, driftwood and sod. The house is best as getaway for 2 with occasional guests in separate bedrooms. all amenities plus a fireplace, heated stone floors and outside bathtub. Watch the storms or the full moon from the bedroom.

Sea Fever House at Roscrea - The Eagle's Nest

The Eagle's Nest is an entirely private, gorgeously renovated kitchenette suite at tree top level, filled with light, with brand new bathroom, amenities, and comfort. Private deck and sweeping, one of a kind views of the Strait of Georgia, the coastal mountains, passing deer, eagles overhead, and the sounds of waves and seals from the beach below. Your hosts Bonnie, Kathleen and Kevin Brett will be happy to assist you in any way they can to make your stay memorable.

The Hideout

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
