If you are looking for a romantic escape in the New Forest, just a short walk from the pub and open forest, then look no further. Situated in the grounds of an impressive country house, the Goat Shed is the stylishly renovated ground floor of a 19th century barn, with a kingsize four poster bed, claw foot bath and woodburning stove. Deer roam through the gardens, and our wood burning stove makes nights in perfectly cosy. A great spot from which to explore the forest, or simply relax in comfort.

18th Century Cottage in Dorset Countryside

This idyllic country cottage is surrounded by peaceful woodland and fields. Once an 18th-century barn, it has been lovingly restored and what a welcoming place it is. Inside, you'll find a traditional open fireplace, wooden beams and lots of exposed brick. The cosy sitting room is the perfect place to hunker down on cooler evenings, there's ample sofa space for six and a TV to watch films. Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and downstairs there is a 3rd bedroom and bathroom.

Only 5 miles from Wimborne, 8 miles from The New Forest and 12 miles from Sandbanks this is an ideal base for exploring Dorset and Hampshire. Perfect for a weekend away or longer stay.

The self contained Garden Room Annex

The private Annex has it's own access via the rear garden and is connected to the house via a lockable door. The Annex is a bed sitting room with basic kitchen facilities, a shower room and outside area, all for your sole use. You can choose a Large double or 2 single beds in the room. Towels, soap and linen are provided. Teas/coffee/milk available in the room. TV, Fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, fan, iron/board, plates, cutlery. There's an Airfryer available on request.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Just a short walk into the centre of Wimborne or to the beautiful River Stour. This flat is situated on the first floor of the building. Access is via a communal stair case. Please note the bathroom does not have a bath (it's a shower). Early check in can sometimes be arranged. Our annexe is newly converted with everything you need for a relaxing break away. We always take last minute single night bookings at weekends.
