Our home is in a quiet & family-friendly neighborhood. The place is cozy, clean, & sanitized. Guests have a private entrance to a whole floor with 2 bedrooms, private bathroom, living room, small kitchenette and a study area. We live upstairs. Guests have excellent internet connection. Close to highway 81, JMU, Sentara RMH hospital. We are 20 miles to the National Park, and close to several restaurants. Ideal for short-term stays. There is a dedicated parking spot and tandem parking is possible.

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and families (with kids).

Welcome to our private, cozy suite, Country Star. A sunny walkout basement apartment with patio and easy parking next to entrance makes coming and going a breeze. Country Star features a kitchenette, with table and chairs, one bedroom with queen bed and closet, and a full bath/shower. It provides comfortable space for two, with extra space for a pack-n-play or fold out lounge chair/bed for a third person. (See note in 'other'). Our space offers convenience and comfort, with self check-in.

We’ve set-up this space for a range of guests: from JMU parents visiting their children to people traveling for business who are seeking a more textured experience with home comforts.

Located in the quiet Park View neighborhood north of Eastern Mennonite University, and just a few miles from JMU, a 15 minute drive to Bridgewater College, and a 30 minute drive to Shenandoah National Park. It features an open living/dining/kitchen (stocked with essentials), large bedroom, and full bath with washer and dryer. Guest use of the covered patio is encouraged. *no cleaning fee!

Note that this cabin has one bedroom downstairs, and one bed upstairs in the loft area accessible by ship ladder style steps. The loft is a sleeping area but does not have it’s own door.
