The Old Gamekeeper’s Cottage is a hidden gem tucked away in beautiful woodland near Glastonbury in rural Somerset. Surrounded by abundant wildlife and stunning countryside, it’s the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. An ideal home-from-home retreat, relaxed and family-friendly with plenty to keep everyone entertained with our private woodland, trampoline, Wii and toys. Plus cozy amenities along with fresh eggs from our hens (when laying), coffee pods and wood for the wood burner.

The coast is a 50 min drive. Set in the heart of Somerset in a beautiful and secluded country setting, with views of Glastonbury Tor and the countryside this detached stone cottage provides spacious and characterful accommodation with its own large garden for relaxing surrounded by fields.

Ideally situated to visit Glastonbury, Street, Wells and Bruton, and with easy access to Millfield’s senior and prep schools, The Newt and Glastonbury Festival. The accommodation is full of period features but is cosy and perfect for feeling like you're getting away from it all. About 6 miles from Glastonbury with choice of either twin beds or double bed it is close to Somerton, Sreet, Glastonbury, Castle Cary and Shepton Mallet , A single storey property, with own access and entrance ideal for 1-2 persons with plenty of off road parking. Set in a quiet village location,with local pub, mini supermarket and petrol station it is just minutes from the A303 and A37 and an ideal base to use, to tour this lovely part of England. We provide milk on arrival +tea & coffee.

Stunning barn conversion surrounded by fields

As you walk up to this barn conversion you will see Glastonbury Tor in the distance and the view over the fields. Tranquillity at its best. There is something quite magical as you sit here. Inside has underfloor heating if needed and it has a lovely calm feel about the place. All the things you need and a well-equipped kitchen. There is one large double bedroom.The living room has a sofa bed which would be ideal for one young child & not ideal for adults. There is also a junior bed or cot.

The Wheelwrights Workshop

The Wheelwrights Workshop is located at the end of an old barn which has since been converted into this lovely self catering cottage that sleeps two. Please note currently we are offering this cottage at a reduced rate as outside the main door of the cottage there is another old barn which is yet to be converted and due to that there is a little clutter. Rest assured though once inside the cottage you will not notice it and the bedroom window has views of the Tor our only cottage that does.

In quiet Barton-St-David, views over the open fields & Glastonbury Tor, & good pub just literally across the road! Ideal for Glastonbury Festival Stay!! or romantic weekends away! 6 mins drive to Millfield school.

Butleigh, Glastonbury nr Millfield Entire Annexe

This is a newly converted annexe with all modern fittings within a secure private drive on the edge of the stunning village Butleigh, 5 mins Millfield School and walking distance to centre of village, church, PO shop and cricket grounds. Close to Glastonbury and Street with fantastic walks and cycling in the area. It is open planned but Perfect for families as can sleep up to 3 children. Well behaved dogs considered max of 2 (pls check before booking your dogs will mix with ours!)

Yer Tiz is a comfortable & spacious guest suite within a 5 min drive of weird and wonderful Glastonbury. Adjoining our home, but self contained with own access & parking , fenced patio area overlooking the garden to fields beyond. Large open plan living space - with lounge (including small double sofa bed ) and kitchen/dining area (with cooker & fridge), double bedroom, and light & airy shower room. Perfect for those who want a relaxing space to return to after exploring the area.

Rural retreat: ideal for families, couples & dogs

The accommodation is a self-contained annex decorated in vintage style. It includes a chunky pine double bed, pine bunk beds, sofa, TV, wifi, bathroom (with bath and shower) and a well equipped kitchen with dining table. It fits up to 2 adults, 2 children and a baby. Travel cot, highchair and bedding provided. We have a shop in the village that sells all the essentials. We are just 10 minutes drive from Glastonbury and Clarks Village in Street.
