My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). I do have a 50.00 pet fee per dog up to 2 dogs only. It is located just above the entrance to the Smoke Hole Canyon with great fishing, beautiful scenery along the paved country curvy road. You can drive through the canyon and come out on Rt 28 just below the Smoke Hole caverns and gift shop. Then continue to Seneca Rocks and hike the rocks or drive to Nelson Rocks for zip lining.

Twin Oaks Retreat

Enjoy your stay in this cozy cabin. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a large living room with a beautiful view of the nearby mountains. Located 19 miles from Snowshoe resort, 5 miles from the Green Bank Observatory, and 11 miles from Cass Scenic Railroad. There is so much to enjoy from hiking and biking the Greenbrier River trail, canoeing or kayaking one of the nearby rivers or skiing at Snowshoe. Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.

A century-old home in the small town of Durbin WV, the Craftsman Cottage is fully renovated with authentic bourbon barrel staves and stylish features throughout. You'll find the location of our house to be the perfect launchpad for every adventure around. Pocahontas County is well known for its hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, kayaking, history, train rides, and more.

Historical 1800s Cottage

Historical cozy cottage built in the mid 1800s conveniently located near the Green Bank Observatory, Snowshoe Mountain Resort, the National Forest and loads of hiking and biking trails. From the back yard, you can access hiking trails which connect to the Observatory's many hiking and biking trails. Cass Scenic Railroad and the Greenbrier River are only 6 miles away.
