A cozy cabin over looking the Manistee River on a very safe & peaceful private drive. There are many launch sites for rafting, kayaking and canoeing nearby. The cabin is centrally located between Cadillac, Interlochen, Frankfort & Traverse City. Snowmobile staging area, Caberfae & Crystal Mt. ski areas, Hodenpyle dam backwaters, North Country & Manistee River trails are nearby. Within 30 min of Frankfort/Lk Michigan, Traverse City , Beulah/Crystal Lake, & approx 20 min from Interlochen Music Camp. Lakes & the Betsie River surround the area, making fishing and boating easily accessible. The BRLC is a nonsmoking property with a full house generator/new baby gear on sight.

The Hawks Nest has been lovingly restored to its original glory while having all the modern-day amenities woven through its clean 380 sq. ft. space. Retreat to the spacious covered porch to relax and view the acre-and-half property leading down to 100ft of 6Mile Lake frontage. Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

Orv trails abound, and in the winter, this year round cabin is in the heart of the snow belt with some of the best snowmobiling in the lower peninsula.
