Heating is from a wood-burning stove, there is no AC. The bath house is a separate structure from the cabin, up a hillside with stone steps. Cooking is via charcoal grills, small outdoor kitchenette or fire.

Feeling all at once close to town center and yet completely enveloped in mountaintop thicket, this idyllic perch above Bovina sets the scene for many a cozy adventure - snowshoeing and fireside cider in the winter, and outdoor showers, hiking and porch hanging in the summer. If you are looking for a secluded place to escape, you've found it. This Private Log Cabin is on 47 Acres with a spectacular view down the valley in the Catskill Mountains. Just outside my home town of Delhi, 18 minutes to Maple Shade Farm (it's a great place to get ready fo a wedding), 25 minutes to Cooperstown All Star Village and 42 minutes to Cooperstown's Dreams Park. I hope you find it as relaxing as I do.
