Built in 2023. Our A-Frame style home is located on thirty acres of maple, oak, pine & sassafras rising out of a blanket of ferns set in the Manistee National Forest. Over a mile of well maintained hiking trail winds through the woods. This peaceful setting is only a 20-minute drive to downtown Ludington & Lake Michigan. Hosting adults only, no children or pets permitted inside the A, which is designed by a couple to create a perpetually quiet and relaxing place for other couples and ourselves.

The Chalet is set on a quaint piece of Door County's shoreline. Just steps from the waters of Sturgeon Bay, its location is very private, yet convenient to the city. You will enjoy the early morning sunshine from the east and the evenings colors lighting up the surrounding bay. Fall is when this shoreline goes quiet. Coffee on the deck with steam rising off Little Sturgeon Bay, deer at the edge of the yard, nights of firewood and stars with no city noise. A classic Door County waterfront cottage: wood-burning stone fireplace, 180 feet of private shoreline, and a kitchen guests write paragraphs about. Sleeps 10 across three bedrooms and a detached bunkhouse — right for a girls' weekend or Thanksgiving, and just as right for two people with nothing on the schedule.

The property backs onto 1000 acre nature preserve with miles of trails to explore. We designed the space with all natural materials, and high-end amenities.
