The cabin and pavilion were built from logs harvested from our own property and sawn on our saw mill. The pavilion is perfect for get togethers, with lights and outlets. Near by is an Amish community with local shops. also near tall pines atv park. Sit and relax on our front porch, enjoy nature, sunsets, and stargazing. Relax in a unique and private one bed, one bath apartment sitting above our beautiful barn with your own heated garage parking. The space comes with a full kitchen, a gas stove, washer and dryer, and all the comforts of home. We are centrally located between downtown Hornell and Alfred, home to Alfred State and Alfred University. You would share a large U shaped driveway with the hosts, but will find plenty of privacy in this rural setting. We’d love to have you stay!

Carney’s Country Escape

This single level home is located just outside of Hornell, NY in a quiet, secluded country setting. Letchworth 45 mins, Watkins Glen 1 hour and Niagara Falls 2 hours. We purchased the property in 2018 and made necessary upgrades while retaining the original character of this classic home. The view of the backwoods from the living room is spectacular! We live at the adjacent property located a few hundred feet away, so we are available as needed.
