Open plan and full of rustic charm it’s perfect if you're stopping off for a short stay in Modbury to explore the beautiful South Hams, the South West Coast Path, the many stunning beaches, Dartmoor or attending a wedding. There’s everything you need for a comfortable stay, with a sofa bed, TV, wifi, shower/loo, kettle, toaster, microwave, single hob cooker, air fryer, fridge and space to stretch out and relax.

Welcome to the Maple Room, a private en suite guest unit in our family home. The room has its own private entrance, it is completely self contained and comprises of an entry room and an en suite bedroom. We are in the beautiful medieval "river and market" town of Totnes, home to many independent shops and eateries, close to beaches, Dartmoor and many walking and hiking trails. Our house is on a hill overlooking the town, with gorgeous views, and the high street is a 10/15 minute walk away.

Higher Brook Shepherd's Hut

Our newly built Shepherd's Hut is self-contained in its own plot at the end of our back garden with direct, private access down a path alongside our property. The hut lies on the fringes of Totnes, in a secluded location with views across fields towards Haytor. A welcome breakfast of bread and cereals is provided on arrival, with tea and coffee available. We are always available should you need tips on where to go or can leave you to discover and enjoy this area entirely on your own.
