Whether you’re visiting to explore the local area or simply looking to unwind, our home offers a peaceful base with easy access to nearby towns, pubs, and shops. This spacious cottage, with its large yard and sweeping views, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Irish countryside.

This traditional style Irish thatch cottage is a truly unique and cosy property. Self catering with private parking. Situated in North Cork, in the heart of Munster, within an hours drive of major cities in the south. The Cottage is only 500 metre’s, with views of the Galtee Mountains, from the beautiful ‘Famous’ Kildorrery town and a 10 minute drive from Mitchelstown (M7 Motorway). One of the many local amenities include, the Ballyhoura mountains, perfect for hikers or keen mountain bikers.

We are close to Cork City, Ballincollig, Farran Woods, National Rowing Centre, UCC Zip it , CUH and Lee Valley golf. There are some pubs and restaurants nearby such as the Kilumney Inn, Ovens Bar and Lee Valley Golf Club + White Horse. A car is necessary. EV charging available payable locally.

The village is locally know as 'The Harbour', this stems from the 9th Century invasion of the Vikings who sailed as far as the Monastery in Glanworth. Owenie's Cottage is surrounded by medieval buildings and Old Mills . It is across the road from a castle with walks to the beautiful River Funcheon.

Self contained apartment just 10min walk from Blarney village and castle and 10-15 min drive from Cork city. Apt is attached to our own home with it's own entrance. Very clean and cosy. A fully equipped kitchen/living area, tv, bathroom/shower and comfortable double bedroom. Breakfast of juice, tea/coffee bread and cereals is provided. Guests have private off-road parking and your own outdoor space All in a peaceful rural setting surrounded by lovely country walks.

12 mins walk, 3 min drive to Main Street, this converted open plan cottage is a lovely place to stay and is child and pet friendly. Excellent train and Bus service. Lots of amenities in the town. Adjacent to Co Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare and Tipperary. Great walking/cycling in the area. Cottage fully self contained. There is a large enclosed garden.
