Ideal for walkers who enjoy nature and wildlife. There is a quiet beach in easy walking distance where you can find fossils, sea glass and an amazing array of seashells. Due to the out of the way location you ideally need transport to access the nearest shop and pub. 45 mins on foot/7 mins by car.

Our beautiful apartment is presented to reflect it’s stunning location, right on Freshwater Bay. Wake up to sea views from your bed and access the large private terrace from the living area. Swim or paddle board before breakfast and be on and off the beach all day, making the most of this luxurious beachside apartment. There are great views of Tennyson Down with a fabulous walk straight from the door. Local shops and cafes are all within easy walking distance, so you can truly relax.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful getaway! A period Arts and Crafts bungalow with a sunny, fenced, garden overlooking Freshwater Bay. You are welcome to bring your dog and walk from the front door in every direction to enjoy the West Wight. Enjoy a short stroll down to Freshwater Bay, continue further all the way to the Needles in one direction. Step out of the back gate and onto the bridleway leading over the downs to our favourite place, Compton Bay.

Well set up for relaxed family stays, with travel cot, high chair, stair gates, toys, games, washer/dryer and dog-friendly touches. A lovely base for beach days, woodland walks, Solent sunsets, Freshwater Bay, Compton Bay and the Needles.

Emma’s Hut. Close to ferry. Own space

Emma’s Hut is a light and airy self contained bedroom with ensuite shower room and separate area with catering facilities. We are only 20 minutes drive from the Needles and even closer to Freshwater Bay and minutes from the Coastal Path. The historic town of Yarmouth has a great choice of places to eat, a Grade 2 listed pier a castle and fabulous views across the Solent. The ferry comes into Yarmouth from Lymington and is a short walk up the hill to our home.

Iconic Beach Front Stay | The Watch House, Lepe

Orchard Cottage

Converted from a former milking parlour in 199, Orchard has been hosting guests ever since. Perfect for families and guests with pets, Orchard is comfortable and well-equipped for a wonderful stay. Although Mattingley is no longer a working farm, we do keep some pedigree Jacob's sheep, alpacas and sometimes pigs. The farm is located in the rural West Wight with easy access to great walking, cycling and beaches.
