We are located at the tip of Michigan’s lower peninsula: 6 miles to Mackinaw City, Mackinaw Bridge & ferry boats to Mackinaw Island. 2 miles to Northwestern State Trail. During your stay enjoy free use of kayaks, paddle boat & board, swing and fire pit (with free firewood) at waters edge.

Relax with the whole family in this luxury cabin surrounded by 10 private wooded acres. Walk or bike to Wilderness Park trails through the little-known southern entrance. Access Lake Michigan via a boat launch 5 miles north or sunset beaches 8 miles west. Sleeps 6 with two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa. Complete kitchen and laundry. Short drive to Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands. 15 minutes to the Bridge, Mac City and Mac Island Ferry. Note that the living space is up a flight of stairs. No TV or AC.

Hike the blue trail , go fishing or kayaking on the many lakes in and around Wilderness State Park. 15 minutes from historic Cross Village, 20 minutes from the Mackinac Bridge, 30 minutes from beautiful Harbor Springs and the best skiing in the Midwest! Plenty to explore right out the door!

Enjoy summer days or wintry splendor. We are located in a rustic area of northwest Michigan, 15 miles north of Harbor Springs, within 2 miles of the Tunnel of Trees. We are conveniently located for nature preserves, hiking trails, beautiful beaches, ski slopes, and Mackinaw Island. Our home is attached to the guest suite but guests access their suite via a secured private entrance. Our equipped kitchen has a pantry, fresh farm eggs, butter, a home-baked item, ground coffee, and teas.

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

Disconnect at our Ski Chalet in Nubs Nob

Newly remodeled A Frame Cabin in the woods of Hidden Hamlet in Harbor Springs, Michigan. Located in the little neighborhood at the base of Nubs Nob Ski Resort, this is a peaceful and quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful trees. Currently we are renting this as an open bedroom loft with a queen bed. There is also a pull out sofa sleeper on the main floor, but you know the comfort level of those... Unwind at this Lake Michigan Beautiful Chalet. Nestled in the Wilderness State Park. Enjoy the view of the Mackinac Bridge, hear the waves splash the shore. State boat launch nearby. Lots of hiking, biking and fresh air. Located 11 miles from Mackinaw City. Day trip to Mackinac Island. Then settle in at the chalet for s'mores by the fire, stargazing and twinkle of the bridge lights. Perhaps a game of Euchre.
