Enjoy your stay in the rolling foothills of Western Pennsylvania with this full house rental. This 1920 duplex has been completely renovated as a single family home. It is located in the historic Rowe’s Run Coal Mine Patch where the original company store still stands. There is no shortage of fun, located within an hour of Pittsburgh, Seven Springs Ski Resort, Nemacolin Resort and Casino, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Water, Ohiopyle State Park, Fort Necessity National Park and Morgantown, WV.

The Little House

Take it easy at this modern cottage that’s located near the Washington County Airport. It is minutes away from W&J college, Wild Things stadium, and the George Washington Hotel. It is also a 45 minute drive to downtown Pittsburgh for concerts, games, and events. This little cottage is tucked away on a quiet dead end with a spacious yard and fire pit. It has everything you need for a short or extended stay. There are places for coffee, restaurants, and shopping within 5-10 minutes of the house.

If you enjoy privacy and pretty scenery this is the place for you. Enjoy nature and the sounds of waterfalls from the elevated deck. This two bedroom house is all by itself with an updated kitchen. Just a short drive to Laurel Caverns, Falling Water and Ohiopyle. There is plenty of firewood on site for campfires. The long driveway is dirt and gravel and rough and you have to ford a small stream. You don’t need a 4 wheel drive but you do need a vehicle with clearance. Pickup or SUV recommended.

Small home is completely remodeled using traditional woodwork craftsmanship for a warm feel. Full appliances and amenities are supplied in the cottage. Evening and breakfast snacks included. The Scenic Lodge

The Scenic Lodge has 700sf of decking with breathtaking views.  The spacious great room is perfect for a quiet getaway or family reunion. The chef’s kitchen has a 48” Zline gas stove, double oven, cast iron cookware and anything you need.  There is a gas grill for your use. The downstairs gameroom has something to entertain all ages.  The base rate is for up to 6 people. There are additional fees calculated in the reservation for additional guests up to the max 13 guests.

Views of woods & fields, but close to numerous restaurants, parks & walking trails, & TRAX Farms. The Trolley to Pittsburgh is two minutes away. Just note, we are a working farm so at times there will be machinery noise, tours happening, farm smells and animals noise that comes with it.
