Owl cabin is a peaceful & cosy retreat, situated in our garden next to our house on the edge of our woodland, a haven for deer, badgers & owls. From the veranda you can watch our free-range ducks & chickens, buzzards & red kites thermalling over the valley & horses coming and going. There is a private, woodland garden with a wood fired hot tub to enjoy the views or gaze at the stars. There are lots of lovely walks including across the fields to the local pub and Bath is only 15-20 mins by car.

Our garden annex is in the hamlet of New Buildings near Peasedown St John, Bath, a quiet retreat away from the city. Miles of countryside and woodland walks but close to amenities and bus routes, it’s a very special spot. Perfect for visiting Bath Christmas market, only a short drive to Odd Down Park and Ride or direct buses to the centre of Bath, Wells and Frome. Longleat Safari Park is only 30 mins so great for families. Bath Spa and Bath University 20 minutes away.

Welcome to Summerleaze Cabin

Just 10 minutes from Bristol Airport, perfect for early flights or late arrivals. Easy access to Bristol, Bath and Weston-super-Mare. Comfortable, simple accommodation sleeping 2 (up to 4 at a squeeze) with two double beds (one sofa bed). Private bathroom with toilet and shower. Tea and coffee provided. Tucked away on the historic grounds of Barrow Castle, this charming cabin offers the perfect countryside retreat.
