Bayou Suite - Louisiana Cajun Mansion

The Bayou Suite is tucked away on the north wing of the main house and offers a stunning view of the manicured wooded yard. Wildlife is always roaming around. The bedroom suite includes a full private bathroom and is decorated in white, gray and silver blue which gives a soothing and calming feeling. A plush queen size bed also has sumptuous linens which assures our guests a restful stay. Enjoy a flat screen TV with DVD player, FREE cable & Wireless Internet, numerous room sundries, coffee & Tea bar, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, writing desk, chest of drawers, hardwood floors, ceiling fan, clock and much more. Chocolates are always a nice surprise! Wake up to a delicious full 7 course Cajun breakfast served with coffee, Tea and juice. If you're really into the basics, Additionally, we have a selection of cereals or bagels.

First Floor of Barn - Our "Precious Past" Suite is the lower level of the barn and is decorated with antiques that will refresh your memory of bygone days. This suite has a queen bed, dressing table, armoire, a sitting area with love-seat, TV, a charming antique dinette, kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator. It has a bath room with a shower. It is located in the country on a pond, where you can fish and relax under the old oak trees. Breakfast not included in price.

We are thrilled to share with you our latest addition to the Myrtles! Our Garden Rooms, individually named after our favorite streets in the New Orleans' Garden District, sit nestled in the new building overlooking the courtyard and pond. The Amelia, Bordeaux, Carondelet, Lasalle, and Octavia sit on the second story and the Prytania Garden room is on the first floor and handicap accessible. These cozy, quaint rooms are the perfect retreat for parties of two!

Bayou Teche Cottage

Cajun Cottage located on the Bayou Teche in Downtown New Iberia's Historic Main St. The property is lined with old Oak and Cypress trees with a beautiful view of the bayou. Walking distance from restaurants, bars, and shopping. 8 miles from Avery Island. Coffee, cream, and sugar provided.. The cottage is a private space with kitchenette, living area, separate bedroom, and screened in patio. Very private and peaceful setting.
