Eight minutes walk from York train station. With an eye for the unusual and attention to detail Royal College of Art graduates David and Anita have created the perfect, dreamy get-away. The apartment has been selected by Alistair Sawday's 'Special Places to Stay' (the first in York). This spacious apartment has been lovingly restored and styled by its artist owners and features their original artworks (paintings/lights). The apartment has solid oak flooring, antique Persian rugs and a combination of period French and contemporary designer furniture which contributes to the apartment's special character. A stunning set of 18th century chateau doors divide the living and bedrooms and provide the 'wow factor' of this charming find. A welcome basket of Prosecco or red or white wine and olives as well as breakfast provisions to be found in the kitchen; Artisan bread, butter, preserves, cereals, milk, free-range eggs, fresh fruit juice, Marmite, Betty's/Yorkshire tea and ground coffee. *FREE WI-FI* and *FREE PARKING*. The living room with its linen covered antique chesterfield sofa, large format art books, 42" Smart HD TV with Freeview, DVD player, Bose Bluetooth sound system is perfect for a cosy night in. Wet-room style bathroom with walk-in shower, heated towel rail, underfloor heating and plenty of white fluffy towels (shower gel and shampoo etc.) The kitchen - reclaimed slate work-tops, Victorian tiled floor. Induction hob, oven, fridge, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster etc. Washer-dryer, steam iron and ironing board. Ring front door bell marked 'Evagora-Campbell' and David or Anita will give you a key and show you around the apartment. The apartment is within our family house but completely private with its own entrance. Your hosts are on hand, though, for advice on local attractions, restaurants and places to visit for day trips. 'Atelier 22 York' is situated in York's 'Cultural Quarter', a few minutes walk from the Yorkshire Museum, the Theatre Royal, York Art Gallery and the Minster. The city's top eateries are a stone's throw away : Roots, The Star Inn The City, Betty's, Skosh, Partisan, Le Cochon Aveugle, as well as numerous pubs and bars; a gentle stroll back home at night. The beautifully restored medieval buildings of Stonegate and the Shambles provide the perfect setting for some last minute shopping. York's many attractions, including The Minster, Yorkshire Museum and Gardens, Treasures House, Fairfax House, Castle Museum, National Railway Museum, City Walls, Theatre Royal, City Screen Cinema, Betty's famous Tea Rooms are all 5-10 minutes walk away as well as beautiful riverside walks and restaurants, pubs and bars too numerous to mention. "The Base" Free parking in the heart of York

Welcome to our cosy basement apartment with free parking, a short walk from the station, right beside the most historic part of the city centre yet on a quiet cul-de-sac street just beyond the hustle and bustle of the city. The apartment has its own entrance accessed via stairs from the street. We call it "The Base" because it is perfect to use as a base for a short break in the city or further afield. Briefly, it comprises a lounge, kitchenette, bathroom and a bright and airy double bedroom.

Bright studio, separate cosy sleeping space, small double bed, and memory foam mattress. Perfect for a couple but it also has a sofa bed (£20 extra bedding) in the living room. New kitchen and bathroom. 3rd floor of a lovely converted hotel. No lift. Dogs are welcome, bring their bed, feeding bowl, and towels, and let us know that you are bringing your pet so that we can ensure soft furnishings are changed for any guests with allergies. Please do not allow your pet onto the bed or furniture.

Centrally located duplex apartment with a private parking space. Tesco is across the road and Gillygate is home to many shops, & restaurant’s. 3 min walk to York Minster, 8 min walk to York Station. Overlooks York wall and Minster. The flat benefits from my parking space in private car park for free, there is only one and is the size of a supermarket car parking space. No stags or Hens.
