FNQ Blooms Tropical Flower Farm Lodge

The Tropical Flower Lodge sits at the foothills of Mt Bartle Frere, surrounded by lush rainforest and vibrant tropical gardens. Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. Guests often tell us it feels like staying in a hidden, eco‑friendly sanctuary where nature does all the work.

Water ski, jet ski, canoe, kayak, paddle board or fish directly from the back yard. If bird watching is more your style, sit back and enjoy the array of wildlife the property attracts or do you just need a little less stress in your life, then the tranquility of Lakeside Escape is the place for you to relax and unwind.

Lakeside Loft

The Lakeside Loft is the ultimate relaxing getaway. It is a luxury pole home, nestled in the tree tops. It boasts three levels all with breath taking panoramic views of the Lake. The back yard has direct access to the lake for water sports for most of the year. We have a canoe and kayak for guest use. The closest boat ramp is located at Tinaburra which is only a couple of mins away. Yungaburra village is also a couple of mins drive and it is 15 min to Atherton and just over 1hr to Cairns.

Idriess Cottage

A self contained, one bedroom cottage with all amenities on the edge of Herberton on the Atherton Tablelands. The cottage has a verandah with bush views and BBQ. Part of a secure 1 hectare (2 acres) estate, the cottage is 200m from the main historic homestead. There is plenty to do here, including museums, bush walking and pack donkey treks, day trips to some real outback towns and other attractions, all only 1.5 hours' drive from Cairns International Airport. Breakfast supplies included.

Usnea, our Nature, Art and Accommodation Space, is situated on the Evelyn Tablelands, Tropical North Qld. Here a discrete self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental features.

Hawkview Rest Guest House

Escape to tranquility in our newly renovated, fully self-contained guest house, offering modern comfort while retaining its rustic charm. Our one-bedroom guest house includes a queen bed, with an additional queen size Koala pullout sofa in the living room for any additional quests. We are nestled on a serene 400-acre cattle property just 7 minutes from Atherton. Our guesthouse is detached from the back of the main farmhouse, with a shared yard. Close proximity to local attractions.

Jindy's Cottage Atherton

Welcome to my eclectic cottage close to everything, a great base to explore the local area. A short bike ride or walk to the Atherton Rail Trail which links to the Mountain Bike Park, and the Atherton town and cafe's. Consider it a home away from home, rather than a luxury retreat. If you come again you will see the improvements over time. It is a work in progress so please don't expect brand new everything! If you are looking for bookings later in the year please contact me.

This thoughtfully restored 1980s farmhouse transports you to the quieter analogue days of the past, but all within 10 minutes of Herberton township, and only 25 minutes from Atherton. Abundant wildlife feature in your stay and the property is an ideal base to visit our many historic and natural tourist attractions on the tablelands.

Hemingway’s on the Hill is a rustic private indulgence. Set high on the hill, bearing witness to the best of rural life. Cows graze paddocks, and flocks of birds fly overhead. Life is everywhere. Curated by Interior Designer Fifi. She wrote a story for the life to be lived in the space. Like the great man himself, thoughtful yet spare enough with surprises of artful collection. Tinaroo Wilderness Retreat

Tinaroo Wilderness Retreat is situated on over 2 acres of beautiful bushland next to Lake Tinaroo. The cottage is totally private and backs into a reserve. Only a short stroll to the lake and is surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. 3 minute drive to Black Gully boat ramp, 12 minutes to Atherton mountain bike park, and Mount Baldy walking trail. It has it all — fishing, hiking, mountain biking, water sports.
