The carriage house apartment is right in the heart of the historic village of Hyde Park, Vermont. It is tucked away at the end of a little lane and offers guests complete privacy. The house is surrounded by mature trees and perennial gardens with lovely southern and eastern exposure - lots of sunshine and gorgeous views. It is only minutes from the village as well as countless recreational opportunities including skiing, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, paddling and much more.

The guestroom room has a separate entrance located off a covered, back porch with a small table and chairs for summer use. There is adjustable heat and cool air from the wall mounted air-source, heat pump. The little kitchen alcove is convenient for coffee or tea or a light meal (toaster oven, single induction “hot” plate, water heater) We live in a historic building. Our neighborhood is very close to Rte 100. Waterbury village and Stowe are nearby too with skiing, hiking and biking.

Although 1 small dog is generally fine, please read further about the pet policy. Check in 3pm. Check out 11am and please park in designated spot. Beer, cheese, long walks in the woods & skiing! Our 180 year old little Farmhouse is close to all the rural essentials. Set on bucolic backroads, looking out towards Stowe, the little Farmhouse is a Vermont country paradise. Starting in 2026, we will be building a home adjacent to the farmhouse. The property might be a bit of a construction project in the Spring and through the Summer. *Read the “rules” section if you plan to bring a dog :) .
