The fully separate home is located on our property offering a great space for a couple or a couple with small children. We are located 10 minutes from the East Gate entrance to Algonquin Provincial Park that offers interpretive trails, museums and vast lakes and rivers for day or overnight canoeing trips. Algonquin Parks has much to offer and would encourage you to visit their website. The town of Whitney is about five minutes from our home. Amenities offered; restaurants, gas stations, Pharmacy, post office, grocery store, beer/liquor store, outfitters for canoe rentals and gift store. A beautiful sandy beach and children's playground are located in town.

Deck with BBQ and patio set & fire pit are surrounded by trees. Gather at the bonfire and watch the stars. A path continues through the woods to the dock, kayak & canoe. Behaved pets only. Enjoy!

Welcome to Deerwood, our beautifully decorated bachelor apartment/guest suite on our acre forest lot attached to our home. The high window, vaulted pine ceiling and wood accents are sure to give you the Highland experience. There is a private entrance, full kitchen, bathroom, king bed, queen pull out bed, laundry centre, living room area, TV, internet, gas fire place, air conditioning, private deck and ample parking.
