It offers a country setting, but it is within driving distance of area attractions, such as Cumberland Falls State Park (20 miles) and Big South Fork National Forest. It offers the best of both worlds. It is great place just to relax; sit on the porch or deck and watch for wildlife or read a book.

Summer Shoals cabins (NO ELECTRIC, WATER, HEAT, AC OR BEDDING) are on a beautiful piece of private Cumberland River property. Our sleep cabins are right on the river and each cabin has a charcoal grill picnic table and fire ring. Our property is in the National Wild and Scenic River corridor and a premier small mouth fly fishing location. Surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forest. A large eagles nest is across the river. Deer, bear, coyote, river otter and beaver are seen regularly.

Drive through a working sheep farm to this roomy house surrounded by woods and fields. You'll find a large cabin with a roomy porch and a 30' x 30' sitting room with a large open fireplace, comfortable armchairs and a pool table.
