Ennerdale with its beautiful remote & deep glacial lake, is only 5 miles away.

Our 17th century farm workers cottage has been renovated to provide modern accommodation whilst keeping its traditional character. 20 mins walk from the village of Ennerdale Bridge, with 2 excellent pubs & a cafe. Many walks and cycle routes from the cottage doorstep. Situated very close to Ennerdale Water & the C2C and wainwright coast to coast routes. Easy access to western fells and solway coast.

Stay at the Lake View Lodge and wake up to fantastic views of Lake Windermere and its mountain backdrop every morning. The Lake View Lodge is a self-contained, wooden lodge with access to three acres of grounds and wild meadows attracting a wonderful array of wildlife including owls, red kites, deer, foxes and woodpeckers. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.

We are a stones throw from the stunning Wasdale Valley with Wastwater being named Britains best view and also home to Englands highest mountain- Scafell Pike.
